HDM Selects Joseph Walsh As Vice President of Sales, Government Programs

KING OF PRUSSIA , PA (May 20, 2008) — Healthcare Data Management, Inc. Walsh to the newly created position, Vice President of Sales, Government Programs. At HDM, Walsh will apply his extensive knowledge and first-hand health administration experience to build new relationships and fortify existing ones with many of America’s government agencies, including federal agencies, state employer groups, Medicaid programs, municipal governments, school boards, and correction health programs, to maximize the value and accountability of government-sponsored health benefits programs.

Walsh has over 30 years experience in senior health administration roles with a variety of non-profit and profit healthcare-related organizations. Walsh started his career as a Base Service Unit Director for the Hazleton/Nanticoke Mental Health Mental Retardation Center before becoming CEO of Step-by-Step, Inc. and Transitional Housing of Northeast Pennsylvania. Walsh next became Executive Director of the Mental Health Association in Pennsylvania (MHAPA). Walsh spent the following seven years with LifeQuest Health System in various roles from CEO to Executive Director of several of its subsidiaries. Walsh went on to serve as Senior Vice President for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He next joined FPA Medical Manager as Regional Vice President. Prior to HDM, Walsh served as co-founder and Executive Vice President for HealthFusion, Inc.

Walsh holds a BA degree in from the University of Scranton and a Health Service Administration Certification from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
