Healthcare Data Management Names James Earle Ross As Vice President of Sales
KING OF PRUSSIA , PA (May 19, 2008) — Healthcare Data Management, Inc. (HDM), the leading provider of fully-integrated benefits and financial analysis solutions for employers with self-insured health plans, today announced the appointment of James Earle Ross to Vice President of Sales. At HDM, Ross will apply his knowledge in employee benefits human resources to drive sales activities, develop key accounts, and oversee HDM’s markets in the Eastern regions of the United States. Ross’ experience, combined with recently appointed Carol Plymale Martin Vice Presidents of Sales, Western Region, will provide HDM with the ability to provide significant value to clients.

Prior to HDM, Ross held senior key sales roles with providers of health benefit plans. Most recently, Ross was Vice President, Behavioral Health Solution Sales for UnitedHealth Group and accountable for the sales of behavioral health products to the external payer market, including independent Health Plans, TPAs and other payer sources. Prior to this role, he was Strategic Client Executive with a venture-capital backed consumer-focused health plan leading grow to 106 clients and just under 500,000 member lives. Ross also held various successful sales positions with CIGNA Healthcare, CIGNA Behavioral Health, and Intracorp — marketing products to corporations ranging up to 150,000 employee lives — and with Doctors Health Plan and Aetna Life and Casualty.

Ross holds an MA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, in Psychology and English. Another accolade includes completing Certified Employee Benefit Specialist courses.
